NIOT is new ISOPE Corporate Sponsor Member

Cupertino, California, USA, September 8, 2007 ¾ The International Society of Offshore and Polar Engineers (ISOPE) announced that:

National Institute of Ocean Technology (NIOT), Chennai, an autonomous institute under the Ministry of Earth Sciences, India, joined ISOPE as Corporate Member in August 2007. NIOT gave a strong support to the ISOPE Ocean Mining Symposium (ISOPE OMS) and will actively support the annual ISOPE Conference.

NIOT is the host of ISOPE OMS-2009 symposium, Chennai, September 2009.

NIOT works under mission mode:

Ocean energy, deep sea technology and mining, coastal and environmental engineering, marine instrumentation and ocean science and technology for islands.
