The 5th ISOPE HPM Symposium:

Nanomaterials for Structural Application

 

CUPERTINO, CALIFORNIA, February 5 ― The 5th (2007) ISOPE HPM Symposium:Nanomaterials for Structural Application — NANOS-2007 will be held at the 17th International Offshore (Ocean) and Polar Engineering Conference & Exhibition — ISOPE-2007 Lisbon, at Corinthia Lisboa Hotel, Lisbon on July 1-6, 2007. The Symposium aims to cover bulk materials, as well as films, coatings and nanocomposites. The Conference as well as the symposium is sponsored by International Society of Offshore and Polar Engineers (ISOPE)

The focus of this Symposium is to present current multidisciplinary research on nanostructured materials and nanotechnologies for structural applications with the primary focus of reinforcing the relationship between basic science and engineering at the nanoscale level. Particular emphasis is placed on work on processing, fabrication and applications of nanomaterials.

 

The ISOPE NANOS-2007 Symposium papers will be included in Volume 4 of the ISOPE-2007 Lisbon Conference Proceedings CD-ROM (ISBN 1-880653-68-0; ISBN 978-1-880653-68-5). The Proceedings (3,600 pp. est.) will be available from ISOPE during and after the Conference.

 

ISOPE-2007 Lisbon Conference program consists of some 550 peer-reviewed papers from 48 countries in 120 sessions and 7 plenary sessions
