Cupertino, California, July 23, 2004 ¾ The committee of experts has recommended to the Accreditation board that Stavanger University College, Stavanger, Norway be given the full rights as a university under the Norwegian law.
According to Prof. Ivar Langen, Rector (or President), During the Fall 2004, the new name will be changed to University of Stavanger. Prof. Langen was elected in 2003 as the rector of Stavanger University College in 2003. He served as ISOPE president (2003-2004).
