Prof. Wataru Koterayama

Appointed Vice President of Kyushu University

Cupertino, California, April 21, 2004  Kyushu University, Japan announced the appointment of Professor Wataru Koterayama as vice president and a member of the board of trustees of the Kyushu University. He is in charge of the promotion of academic-industry collaboration in Kyushu University.

He is a past member of ISOPE board of directors, charter member and past chair of International Hydrodynamics Committee (IHC) of ISOPE and hosted the ISOPE-2002 Kitakyushu He and his group have been active in organizing technical sessions at the annual ISOPE Conferences and the Pacific Asia Offshore Mechanics Symposium in the field of hydrodynamics, and have been active in organizing technical sessions at the annual ISOPE conferences and symposium in the field of hydrodynamics, underwater vehicles and hydroelasticity.
