Prof. Soo Sam Kim

Appointed Vice President of Hanyang University at Ansan and

Elected President of KSCE

Cupertino, California, October 14, 2003 ¾ Hanyang University, Korea announced the appointment of Professor Soo Sam Kim as vice president of its Ansan Campus. Prior to the appointment, he was elected as the president of The Korean Society of Civil Engineers. He is the past chair of International Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Engineering Committee (IGGEC) of ISOPE, and has been active in organizing technical sessions at the annual ISOPE Conferences in the field of geotechnical engineering.

Prof. Kim is the Advisory Committee chair of the ISOPE-2005 Seoul Conference.
