Honolulu, Hawaii, May 28, 2003 — The International Society of Offshore and Polar Engineers (ISOPE) is proud to announce the 4 recipients of the 2003-2004 ISOPE Offshore Mechanics Scholarships as follows:
Mr. Ioannis Moatsos, Dept. of Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering, University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, United Kingdom
Mr. Mohammed Fazlul Karim, Dept. of Civil & Environ. Engineering, Saitama University, Saitama, Japan
Ms. Liujuan Tang, Dept. of Ocean & Resources Engineering, University of Hawaii, Honolulu, HI USA
Mr. Sangsoo Ryu, Dept. of Civil Engineering, Texas A&M University, College Station, TX, USA.
This year the recipients turned out to be authors or co-authors of the papers presented at the annual ISOPE-2003 Honolulu conference. The Awards Committee chairman, Dr. Robert Frederking, Canadian Hydraulic Center of National Research Council, Ottawa presented the certificates and $500 checks to Mr. Ioannis Moatsos and Ms. Liujuan Tang at the annual banquet, May 28: Click on banquet photos.
