Offshore Mechanics Scholarship and Outstanding Undergraduate Scholarship

For 2003-2004 School Year

The International Society of Offshore and Polar Engineers (ISOPE) invites applications for Offshore Mechanics Scholarship from outstanding graduate students and entering new graduate students from all continents to study and/or to conduct research in any fields in offshore mechanics, ocean engineering, polar (Arctic and ice) engineering and related engineering, or to participate in the annual ISOPE Conferences.  

ISOPE also invites applications for Outstanding Undergraduate Scholarship from outstanding undergraduate students. 

ISOPE awards scholarships of $500 each for the academic year 2003-2004. Seven scholarships were granted for 2002-2003, as listed on this website. To apply, send the following information to the Awards Committee:  

(1) An official graduate school transcript for current graduate students and official undergraduate transcript for entering graduate students;

(2) A letter of recommendation from the thesis supervising faculty, department chairperson, or an ISOPE member on your campus, and

(3) An application form.
